Beloved wife of the late Leonard B. Morris, dear mother of Carolyn (William Cutt) and Joyce (Bunny) Millar (the late Gerald Millar), devoted grandmother of Bill (Angelique), Thomas (Iris) and Lawrence (Sarah) Cutt, and Derek (Lisa), Douglas (Terra), Jeffrey (Rebecca) and Gregory (Lisa) Millar, and proud great-grandmother of Andreas Cutt, Madison Cutt, and Thomas and Michael Millar. She was predeceased by her brother, Dr. A. A. Butler, and her sister, Violet Welsh. A highly respected teacher at Summerlea School, Lachine, for twenty one years, Florence was an accomplished artist and, with her husband, was very active in the Lachine Speed Skating Club. They travelled extensively and for many years they were a familiar sight as they cycled along the Lakeshore on their "bicycle-built-for two"! Florence was an amazing lady with a beautiful smile. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 26th at Summerlea United Church, Lachine, at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Montreal Children's Hospital or Le Bon Dieu Dans la Rue would be greatly appreciated. It was built at Montreal in 1930 by the Canadian Car and Foundry Company. These cars were equipped with pneumatic controllers, couplers and other refinements for multiple unit operation, although with cutbacks in train operation, couplers were removed in 1934. They were synonymous with Ste. Catherine Street until the trolleys on that well known thoroughfare were replaced by buses. No. 2652 was then reassigned to serve the fast suburban line to Lachine until it too was discontinued in 1958. In 1963 the car was moved to the Museum. "Seashore Trolley Museum"
