More than 300 people attended what many described as the best Lachine High reunion ever — truly a once-in-a-lifetime event.

This emotional “love-in” began Thursday evening at the Dorval Tavern and continued through the weekend, wrapping up late Sunday afternoon at Summerlea Park at the foot of 52nd Avenue — across from where “Ben’s” used to be.

Some alumni even found their way back to the Dorval Tavern afterwards. The excitement lived on online as well, with a message thread that grew to over 2,500 posts!
